Android Backup Service

This guide will walk you through backing up and restoring your data on any Android device using your Google account.

How to BACKUP and RESTORE your devices using iCloud

If you back up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you’ll have a copy of your information to use if your device is ever replaced, lost, or damaged. Most importantly for your Metropark Mobility team, having your data backed up makes transfering your data to your new iPhone simple and quick.

Make a Backup Using iCloud

  1. Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.
  2. In iOS 8 or later, tap Settings > iCloud > Backup. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.

Restore Your Data & Settings

You can use Android Backup Service to restore your data on a new device and restore app settings after you’ve backed up your data to your Google account. You can choose to restore app settings when you reinstall an app on your device. This feature requires that you have already backed up your data with your Google account and that the app also uses the backup service. Some apps may not back up and restore all data.

  1. Open your device’s Settings menu.
  2. Under “Personal,” touch Backup & restore.
  3. Check the box next to “Automatic restore
