With the heightened concern about Covid-19 and the increased interest in Social Distancing each other, business owners and managers are thinking about allowing those who can work from home, do so.  Now let’s consider what they will need:

What device options do they have with Metropark Voice Exchange?
  1. TAKE YOUR PHONE HOME
    Metropark Voice Exchange (MPVEX) allows for the office worker to take their existing office phone home with them.  They may need a power supply for their office phone, if you have PoE Switches at the office. Figure a one-time cost of $20.  That’s it. 
    COST:  $0
     
  2. GO MOBILE WITH NIMBUS TWIN
    You may want your office worker to be able to conduct business from other remote locations other than the office or the home office.  Maybe in transit between offices or from other remote locations.  MPVEX also allows for Nimbus, our mobile application and softphone, to be joined to the employees telephone extension.  Answer, transfer, conference, presence, SMS text etc… 
    COST: $4.50
     
  3. DUPLICATE OFFICE @ HOME OFFICE
    You may want your office worker to keep a home office active all the time.  Social Distancing, Inclement Weather, Emergencies, etc. This will just require a second phone that will be the same extension as their office phone.  So, if they are working in the office or at their home office, all calls will be treated the same in both locations.

  4. DUPLICATE HOME OFFICE AND NIMUBUS TWIN
    You may want to have both the freedom of being untethered with our Nimbus softphone on your android or apple phone and an actual duplicate home office set up with a deskphone.  Sounds great!!
    COST: $26.45
     
  5. MPVEX WEBPHONE
    Typically reserved for our call center customers, the MPVEX Webphone is opened to our general customers on a limited basis only.  We have not had the webphone available to the general customer base, as it’s a unique experience meant for call center agents, but since the Covid-19 is forcing people to stay home or stay away from a majority of people, having the MPVEX Webphone may be a nice option for those who can spend a lot of time in front of their laptop or PC.
    COST:  $4.50
